Hunting season is in full-swing. We have hunters in every part of the world right now, including Tanzania, Mexico, Canada, and all over the United States. I’ve just returned from great hunts in British Columbia and Colorado, as well as a nice trip to Spain with my wife where we visited with our Spanish outfitter and toured from Madrid to Spain’s northern coast.

While in Spain, I also toured the AyA shotgun factory. I was impressed with their operation and the quality of their shotguns, which rival English best-quality guns costing much, much more. In fact, I was so impressed I decided to get fitted for one of their lovely little Model One side-lock shotguns. The trim little 28-gauge should be perfect for walking up bobwhites in South Texas. I highly recommend a factory tour and fitting as a side trip to a hunt with our Spanish outfitter.
